Our Infrastructure practice encompasses a cross-disciplinary group of lawyers experienced in all aspects of infrastructure, public-private partnerships and service delivery. Over the past decade, we have worked on some of the most significant projects in Canada and the United States.

Recognition

We are pleased to have been part of a number of infrastructure projects that have been specifically recognized by the project finance community, including the following:

  • 2009 – Port of Miami Tunnel, on which we acted as lead counsel to the Miami Access Tunnel consortium, was awarded the Global PPP Deal of the Year by Project Finance magazine and the Americas PPP Deal of the Year by both Project Finance magazine and Project Finance International.
  • 2009 – Niagara Health Systems Project, on which we acted as lead counsel to the consortium led by Plenary Health, was awarded the Americas Social Infrastructure Deal of the Year by Project Finance magazine and Award of Merit for Project Financing by the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships.
  • 2007 – Durham Consolidated Courthouse, on which we acted as lead counsel to the Access Justice Durham consortium, was awarded the Award of Merit for Project Financing by the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships.
  • 2005 – Canada Line, on which we acted as counsel to the lending syndicate, was awarded the North America Transport Deal of the Year by Project Finance magazine.
  • 2004 – Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre, on which we acted as lead counsel to the Access Health Abbotsford consortium, was awarded the North America Infrastructure Deal of the Year by Project Finance magazine.
